Visit to Slave Trade Castle.
March 2nd 2010 was a historical day for the mureeds of Ghana as Shaykh Hisham Kabbani visited Cape Coast's
famous slave trade castle. The Cape Coast slave castle, which President Obama and his wife Michelle visited back on July 11, 2009, is a seaside fortress used by slave traders starting in the 17th century that has been converted into a monument to millions of Africans cast into slavery.
The event was poignant and filled with emotions as Shaykh Hisham entered the rooms and halls of the castle. But it was a blessing for all the souls who perished that God sent a saint of the caliber of Shaykh Hisham to pray for them. Before leaving the castle Shaykh Hisham signed its guest book with these humble words:

"It was a sad tour to see all that happened.
Sorry for all the African countries.
May God bless you for your sufferings.

Hisham Kabbani."
