Bayt Allah

Amazing nasheed about the House of Allah.

Below is a simple translation of the nasheed in order to give you an idea what it means.

I visited the house of Allah one day
raising my voice answering the call
Within the grounds of the house,
I swear awe engulfed my heart.

Joy rocked my being
and settled in my mind.
The Maqam (Maqam Ibraheem) is in front of me
and the house of Allah is in front of me.

I saw people praying with humility
which increased my closeness
and made me cry: “O Allah,
I am begging for the forgiveness of my sins.”

My eyes cried tears
which wetted the edges of my robe.
Then, I remembered my dearest, the Prophet,
the guide and educator.

O, Messenger of Allah,
whose true straight path is my path.
I send you my greeting
mixed with my love.
