Man has endowed with various faculties and capacities such as hearing, seeing and thinking… so that he can strive and explore the TRUTH in everything.Islam gives freedom and full play to man's faculties of every kind.

USE YOUR STRENGTH & ABILITIES IN PROPER WAYS
We will be benefited no doubt, if we look within ourselves and use our strength and abilities in proper way to tame the more unruly forces of nature. As Allah (swt) says : “And He has subjected to you, as from Him, all that is in the heavens and on earth: Behold, in that are Signs indeed for those who reflect.”Al-Jaathiyah - (Crouching) English Yusuf Ali: [45:13]

DO NOT MISUSE YOUR FACULTIES
If we misuse our power by following the desires of our own distorted self, we can not find Guidance: Allah (swt) says: “Then seest thou such a one as takes as his god his own vain desire? Allah has, knowing (him as such), left him astray, and sealed his hearing and his heart (and understanding), and put a cover on his sight. Who, then, will guide him after Allah (has withdrawn Guidance)? Will ye not then receive admonition?” Al-Jaathiyah - (Crouching) English Yusuf Ali: [45:23]

In the Hereafter our own limbs and faculties will be the strongest witness against us. The Quran says: “On the Day when their tongues, their hands, and their feet will bear witness against them as to their actions.” An-Noor - (The Light) English Yusuf Ali: [24:24]

BE GRATEFUL TO ALLAH
To become grateful to Allah (swt) He reminds us in the Holy Quran: “It is He Who has created for you (the faculties of) hearing, sight, feeling and understanding: little thanks it is ye give!”Al-Mu'minoon - (The Believers) English Yusuf Ali: [23:78]

Those who use their faculties aright and follow Allah’s law, express gratitude will reach the high and noble destiny intended for them. That reward will not be temporary but unfailing.
