Youssou (Yusuf) Ndour is the number one music star of Senegal, West Africa. Youssou's musical style is the Mbalax, Senegal's traditional folkorique music. With the album Egypt (which is called Allah in Europe) Youssou strayed from the Mbalax genre to explore the Nasheed genre. This beautiful album, which features the Fathy Salama's Cairo Orchestra, is a symbol of praises dedicated to the Sufi Tariqas of Senegal: the Tijani Tariqa, the Muridiya Tariqa, the Niassene Tariqa and the Layene Tariqa.
