>It saddens me that I can't find any women nasheed artists.So I am putting out a request for sisters who have the gift of good voices to come forward and break through the out-dated sexist, cultural "prohibition" on women singing. In every major religious tradition in the world, except Islam,women raise their voices to call to and glorify God. Doesn't that seem odd, to say the least, to you?
